This memo states that Notices of Violation (NOV) must be posted per 10 CFR 19.11 only when they contain an item of noncompliance related to radiological working conditions. When such violations are not identified in the NOV, the NOV need not be posted. HPPOS-228 contains a related topic.

10 CFR 19 requires that each licensee post any NOV involving radiological working conditions, proposed imposition of civil penalty, or order issued pursuant to Subpart B of Part 2 of 10 CFR, and any response from the licensee.

Pursuant to Chapter 0800 of the IE Manual, citations will not be included in the NOV for matters which are identified and corrected by the licensee, and no citation will be made if such matters are not posted at the licensee's facility.
