Tribal Consultation

The NRC encourages all Federally recognized Tribes to participate in NRC's proposed actions and policies that may have Tribal implications or substantial direct impacts on Indian Tribes (i.e. affecting protective Tribal rights, land, or resources.)

The NRC Consultation process takes place within the framework of Management Directive 5.1: Intergovernmental Consultation, described further by the NRC Tribal Consultation Information Tool.
