Ken Peters

Ken Peters is Senior vice president and chief nuclear officer for Vistra Energy/Luminant, the largest competitive power generator in the U.S. In his role as chief nuclear officer, Peter is responsible for directing all aspects of the safe, reliable and cost-effective operation of the Comanche Peak nuclear power plant.

In 2019, Peters was appointed to the Texas Radiation Advisory Board. He also serves as vice chair of the Board of Directors for the Utilities Service Alliance (USA).

Peters is a graduate of the New Jersey Institute of Technology, and attended the Goizueta Directors Institute at Emory University.  Peters received a senior reactor operator certification at a previous nuclear station.
