Carlos Henry Castano Giraldo
Carlos H. Castano Giraldo received the B.S. degree in chemical engineering from the National University of Colombia, Medellin, Colombia, in 1998, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in nuclear engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign, Champaign, IL, USA in 2002 and 2006, respectively. In 2008, he joined the Nuclear Engineering Department, Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, MO, USA, where he is currently an Associate Professor. Dr Giraldo has 1 US patent and 2 more preliminary patents on nuclear technology applications, as well as 40 papers in peer reviewed journals and 3 book chapters. His H impact factor is 12.
