Louise Lund

Ms. Louise Lund became the Director of the Division of Engineering in the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research (RES) in August 2019. Previously, she held progressively responsible positions in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR), Region I, the Office of Information Services, and RES. She has served in several senior management positions, including Deputy Director, Division of Operating Reactor Licensing (DORL), NRR; Deputy Director, Division of Risk Analysis (DRA), RES; Director, Division of Policy and Rulemaking, NRR; and her most recent position as Director, Division of Licensing Projects (DLP), NRR.

Ms. Lund received a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Science degree in materials science and engineering from Washington State University. Ms. Lund joined the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) in 1996 as a materials engineer in RES.
