Candace Spore

Candace Spore a Reliability and Risk Analyst in the Division of Risk Assessment in the NRC’s Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation.  Candace joined the agency in 2013 as a student intern.  She completed a seond summer internship in 2014 and then became a student co-op. Candace graduated from the NRC’s NSPDP program in 2015. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering from the Universtiy of New Mexico.  Candace is a member of the Kiowa tribe of Oklahoma. She received her name Eagle Plume Woman pronouces Ah-Goi-Ma in 2015 at the annual Kiowa Gourd Clan Pow Wow during a give away celebration to honor her as the first college gradate from her maternal side of the family.
