Stephanie Coffin

Stephanie Coffin re-joined the Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research (RES) on December 9, 2019. Ms. Coffin became a member of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) staff in 1996 as a technical reviewer in the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation (NRR). Since joining the NRC, she has also worked in the Office of New Reactors, Nuclear Materials Safety and Safeguards, Nuclear Security and Incident Response, and most recently the Office of the Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the NRC, Ms. Coffin worked for Baltimore Gas and Electric at the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant and the U.S. Navy at the David Taylor Research Laboratory in Annapolis, Maryland. Ms. Coffin received a bachelor's degree in materials engineering from Drexel University and a master's degree in materials science and engineering from Johns Hopkins University.
