Tatiana Ivanova

Dr. Tatiana Ivanova has been the Head of the Division of Nuclear Science in the OECD Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) since April 2017.  A French and Russian national, she holds a PhD degree in Physics and Mathematics.  Dr. Ivanova has over 30 years of experience in both the developmental and safety assessment aspects of nuclear energy.  Prior to joining the NEA, she had a 9-year career with the French Institute for Radiological Protection and Nuclear Safety (IRSN).  Previously she worked at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) and the Russian Institute for Physics and Power Engineering (IPPE).  During her career, Dr. Ivanova has acquired diverse technical, managerial and collaborative experience, including in the areas of fast reactor design, criticality safety and reactor safety assessment.
