Subject:  Closure of Corrective Actions relative to:

          10 CFR 21 Notification MGP Instruments Inc.

          Radiation Monitoring System, Power Supply Circuit Boards

          Premature electronic component failure of component "VD-9"

          US NRC Ref. Event 32725



Dear Madam or Sir,



As a courtesy, MGP Instruments Inc (MGPI) wishes to inform the Commission

that the deficiency identified in Event No. 32725, has been corrected by

MGP Instruments Inc.  Please note:



1.   The affected equipment (i.e. Radiation Monitor - Safety Related Local

     Processing Units) was confirmed to have an impact only at Southern

     California Edison's, San Onofre site as originally notified.



2.   MGPI has verified that all affected equipment (total 28 safety related

     units) has been reworked and tested at Southern California Edison.



3.   Corrective action in the form of design modification has also been

     completed.
