Public Meeting to Discuss Data, Methods, and Tools Related to Very Early Warning Smoke Detection Systems, NRC Expectations, and Future Data Collection Needs

The NRC Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research (RES) will hold a public meeting to discuss data, methods, and tools developed in support of NUREG-2180, "Determining the Effectiveness, Limitations, and Operator Response for Very Early Warning Fire Detection Systems in Nuclear Facilities (DELORES_VEWFIRE)". Changes to the draft report, NRC's expectations on use, and future needs for data collection will also be discussed at this meeting.
