National Source Tracking System (NSTS)

*Important Update: Effective June 20, 2023, all existing ISMP system users (NSTS, WBL, or LVS) using One-Time Passwords (OTP) to access the systems will be required to create a new password in place of the current 4-digit PIN for accessing the systems. Access to the ISMP systems will be temporarily suspended until a new password is set up by June 20th. To set up your new password, please follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the email sent to all users. If you haven't received the email or need further assistance, please contact the ISMP Help Desk at ISMPHelp.Resource@nrc.gov or call us at 877-671-6787.

The NSTS is a major security initiative of the NRC. This highly secure, accessible and easy-to-use computer system tracks high-risk radioactive sources from the time they are manufactured or imported through the time of their disposal or export, or until they decay enough to no longer be of concern. This website has been developed to provide our stakeholders with the current status of program activities, tools and resources to aid in using the system, and mechanisms to provide direct feedback to us.
