  • Final Regulations. The final rule which establishes requirements for the expanded definition of byproduct material was noticed in the Federal Register (72 FR 55864) on October 1, 2007. The final regulations will become effective on November 30, 2007.

  • Notification of Impending Phase 2 Waiver Terminations. The Commission provided advance notification that the time-limited waiver of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 requirements granted by the Commission (70 FR 51581; August 31, 2005) will be terminated for those Phase 2 States on September 30, 2008. This was noticed in the Federal Register (73 FR 14376) on March 18, 2008.

  • Notification of Impending Phase 3 Waiver Terminations. The Commission provided advance notification that the time-limited waiver of the Energy Policy Act of 2005 requirements granted by the Commission (70 FR 51581; August 31, 2005) will be terminated for those Phase 3 States on August 7, 2009. This was noticed in the Federal Register (74 FR 5797) on February 2, 2009.)
