Project Overview

The SMR-160 is a pressurized water reactor (PWR) with passive safety systems designed by SMR, LLC, a Holtec International Company. The reactor, steam generator, and spent fuel pool are located in containment with the reactor core well below grade. The SMR-160 has a rated electrical output of 160 MWe.
