18-DEC-17 STC-17-073 Publication of the Final Draft Revision of "Guidance For The Reviews Of Proposed Disposal Procedures And Transfers Of Radioactive Material Under 10 CFR 20.2002 and 10 CFR 40.13(a)" (STC-17-073) informs Agreement States that NRC's NMSS published a Federal Register notice in October 2017 for the aforementioned guidance, with a request for comment on the revision of the alternative disposal request guidance document and announcing NRC's intent to hold a public meeting in October. Comments are due on December 18, 2017.

13-JUN-17 STC-17-035 Notice of Draft Regulatory Basis for Comment: Regulatory Improvements for Decommissioning Power Reactors and Notice of Upcoming Public Meeting (STC-17-035). SECY-14-0118-SRM directs the NRC staff to proceed with an integrated rulemaking on decommissioning and other issues deemed relevant by the NRC staff. Thus NRC has issued a draft regulatory basis, with which to obtain stakeholder input for a final regulatory basis and proposed rule. STC-17-035 presents the proposed federal rule and the draft regulatory basis document. It notes that comments are being sought through June 13, 2017, and that NRC is holding four days of public meetings in Rockville, Maryland, May 8-11, 2017, to promote full understanding of the draft regulatory basis.
13-JUN-17 STC-17-034 Notice of Proposed Rulemaking: Non-Power Production or Utilization Facility License Renewal (STC-17-034). The NRC is proposing to amend its regulations that govern the license renewal process for non-power reactors, testing facilities, and other production or utilization facilities. STC-17-034 presents the Proposed Rule Federal Register Notice, Draft Environmental Assessment, Draft Regulatory and Backfit Analysis, and Draft Regulatory Guide for the license renewal regulations. It notes that the NRC is soliciting public comments on the contemplated action through June 13, 2017.

To ensure that the U.S. can meet the international reporting deadline, submit the forms in accordance with Title 10 of the Code of Federal Regulations Section 75.11(c) by the deadline of January 31, 2017 to the Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security.
